Excalibur Chess is a best in class interactive Desktop Chess application suite that combines the elements of Chess with a highly customized set of actions that enable complete control over the chess board, and a broad selection of unique chess boards and distinctive chess pieces to choose from.

Excalibur Chess provides heretofore unavailable capabilities such as saving and restore of previous games, history playback move by move, Online Chat system, and most significantly chess pieces designed to emulate real-life chess sets as opposed to line drawn figures and line diagrams used by *IBS.

Excalibur Chess is available in 2 editions, specifically, Standard and Merlin.  The Merlin edition adds additional enhanced  Chess Boards and Chess Sets,  including the newly acclaimed Gay Pride selections, and US Politics featuring current, modern day politicians.  Additionally, the introductory Merlin Edition extends the 12 month license to 15 months.  Excalibur Chess is supported by the parent website ExcaliburChess.org

Excalibur Chess can be played worldwide using desktop mirror imaging software provided by remote access software applications.
